Pokémon Legends: Arceus is an action role-playing game that preserves the core gameplay of past entries in the main line series. The game is set in a bygone era of the Sinnoh region's history, when it was known as the Hisui region, long before the events of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl and their remakes take place. The mythical Pokémon Arceus will play a major role in the story.
Players can capture wild Pokémon in the overworld without engaging in battle, though some wild Pokémon must still be battled before being caught. Players can initiate battles by releasing their captured Pokémon near a wild Pokémon. Poké Balls in this era are made of wood and puff steam when a Pokémon is caught. At the start of the game, three starter Pokémon options are available: Rowlet (the grass-type starter Pokémon from the Alola region), Cyndaquil (the fire-type starter Pokémon from the Johto region) and Oshawott (the water-type starter Pokémon from the Unova region). This makes Pokémon Legends: Arceus the first mainline game to feature starter Pokémon from different regions together.

• How to play on your PC if you don't have switch?
Pokemon games are amazing but playing them can cost you a fortune as Nintendo switch is very expensive. This hampers experiences of young players who want to play Pokemon but cannot afford switch. In this post I will tell you how you can download Pokemon legends: Arceus for you pc and play it.
1- you should have Yuzu emulator for installed on your pc. This emulator allows you to play switch games on your pc.
2- you should have a .xci file of game installed on pc. This file contains game data and everything. After you have set everything you just need to open Yuzu and launch your game and TaDaaa! You have a working Pokemon game in your pc.
Not only legends Arceus but you can also play Sword and shield, Let's go Pikachu and ever, Legend of Zelda or any other switch game.
